Heart of the ministry

The heart of this ministry is to be a building ministry. We are called to be builders in the body of Christ. Cooperating and being faithful with the specific calls, gifts and parameters that God has given to us to function in. We are tools in His hands, for it is He who will build the church. Our desire is to build with quality and completeness. Functioning with others to get the job done. We are not the “all-in-all” but only a member of a team working toward the same goal, establishing His kingdom! We see this can happen through the following ways.

5 Building blocks of WINS Ministry
Identify, train, release, maintain, and reproduce.

We believe that these are things we are to be doing on a local scene, stateside and in the world. This can happen in established churches, new church plants and even in evangelistic outreaches. We are called to come alongside those (Apostles, Pastors) that are raising up and running local churches. We want to support their vision and assist them in raising up long-lasting works. We are also called to cross cultures and languages with this vision. He wants us to pioneer into new territory who are not familiar or that have been hurt or mislead by Prophetic ministry. God has predominantly used us in the States and Latin America up to this point however; we know that there are other areas He is going to open as well.

IDENTIFY - The initial ministry in a local church has to do with Prophetically identifying. The things that usually are identified are people with great ministry potential, leadership abilities, gifts, talents, desires and other specific calls upon individual’s lives. Another thing that can be identified is the local vision of the church, different ministries within the local church that God wants to accomplish. There can also be strategies that God wants to use to accomplish His will and even the revelation of the weapons or strategies the enemy might be planning against the church. This is instrumental in helping local leadership to realize and begin to use the valuable tools that are possible sitting in their congregation. It also can be a tremendous confirmation to let them know they are walking in the right way and are on track with what God wants to do with the church.

TRAIN - After identification comes training. WINS can provide prophetic training of leaders as well as general members. Teaching on Prophets, prophesy, prophetic teams and How to hear from God to name just a few. Presenting information to educate and impart to hungry disciples is a must. “You can teach what you know but you impart who you are.” It takes Prophets to impart into these areas because they have been equipped by Christ to work in that area of the believer’s life. The impartation of gifts as well can take place through the laying on of hands.

RELEASE - Taken from Acts. 13: 1-4 WINS has been involved in the final process as well, releasing people into the ministry to which God has called them. There are times of special ordination meetings, sending off of people to do the work, presbyteries (gathering of several prophets for the purpose of identification and release), launching of new ministries within the church and missionaries that are being sent out. Bringing people from infancy to maturity and then giving them opportunity to do what they are called to do.

MAINTAIN- Continued relationships with leaders, Pastors and churches are to be ongoing. Paul returned to many of the places he had visited before because of relationship. As God gives opportunities for more oversight of churches the need to have ongoing communication and contact is a must. We are building together with other leaders it is necessary to recheck and keep updated on progress, new needs and areas of help that WINS could provide or connect them to a helpful source.

REPRODUCE- WINS never wants to come to a place where there are people or churches in a “state of dependency” upon one man, especially in Prophecy. God does not give all revelation to one man and for that reason we need others to grow in this ministry within the local church that can provide this type of ministry on a more consistent basis. Our heart is to see reproduction take place in each church that we minister in. The raising up of Prophets, prophetic teams and prophetic worship within the local churches is the goal. This takes time and repeat visits to make happen but is possible. This may require potential men to travel with WINS for training and mentoring in the Prophetic ministry.
